TECHNICAL DETAILS

With our server being as developed as it is,
There's bound to be some details that need to be elaborated upon.
Especially with vanilla mechanics being tweaked, wE LIKE TO INFORM.

This PAGE will tell you about all the tweaks we've made to make the server run smoothly, and work to our liking (AND SOME FUN ADDONS)

QOL CHANGES/TWEAKS

ON THE SPOT SMP WE HAVE ADDED FEATURES TO FIT OUR COMMUNITIES NEEDS, BUT THERE WERE STILL SOME THINGS BUGGING US.THAT'S WHY WE CHOSE TO PROVIDE SOME QUALITY-OF-LIFE ADDITIONS THAT IMPROVE THE VANILLA EXPERIENCE.

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
DOLPHINS ARE RIDEABLE.
• Beehives hold up to 5 bees.
• Looting can be applied to Shears.
• Turtle Eggs hatch during daytime.
• Sponges absorb both Water and Lava.
• Phantoms are disabled in the Overworld.
• Barrels have the capacity of a double chest.
• Totems work from any slot in your inventory.
• Mending and Infinity are allowed together on bows.
• Budding Amethyst can be picked up using Silk Touch.
• Thunder and rain-storms dont reset upon sleeping.
• 13% of non-afk players have to sleep to skip the night.
• DROPPING CONCRETE POWDER INTO A CAULDRON HARDENS IT.
• editing signs can be done by right-clicking with another sign.

core mechanics

Listed below are some of the most critical changes-
made to core mechanics of our server.
View Distance »
To make for a higher field of view, whilst-not overloading the server,
some chunks seen
are view-able, but not activating anything inside.
In order to activate a farm, it has to be within 4 CHUNKS OF A PLAYER.
Mob (de)spawning »
Mobs spawn in a radius of 64 blocks around-the player. This radius goes in any direction.
Mobs start despawning after reaching a distance-
of 32 blocks from the player if not active.
Once a mob reaches a distance of 64 blocks-from any player, it will instantly despawn.

These changes are critical in keeping our server
running smoothly, and are not subject to change.

farm limitations


Our team works hard to make sure any technical aspects of the- game arent hindered in any way shape or form.
Thus, we currently have no set limitations on redstone, farms and other technical aspects of the game.

To prevent any excessive mob-count from causing issue to the server, We have a few set mob-caps. after the amount of specified mob in an area reaches counts higher than the ones specified below, they will automatically be purged.

Breed-able mobs » Any count above 45 will be removed.

Hostile mobs » Any count above 70 will be removed.

Building any server-heavy build, be it an auto-sorter,highly efficient mob-farm, or redstone masterwork comes-with an agreement to take server performance into account.
